The Australian Passionfruit Industry Strategic Investment Plan for 2012-2017
The Australian Passionfruit Industry Strategic Investment Plan for 2012-2017 has been developed to provide a clear direction for the industry and define the key outcomes required to advance the industry. The plan will guide the investment of industry and government monies over the next five years. It is expected that approximately $1.25 million will be invested into industry research and development and promotion during this period.

National Minimum Wage Increase - How it is Applied to the Horticulture Award
Fair Work Australia's Minimum Wage Panel released their decision in June to increase the national minimum wage by 3.4 per cent from $569.90 a week to $589.30 - a weekly increase of $19.40. The hourly rate will increase from $15.00 to $15.51 The increases took effect from the first full pay period this month. The wage increase will be applied to the Horticulture Award 2010 as part of the phasing provisions under Schedule A of the Award and will apply to all Queensland horticulture enterprises.
